Thread: No Internet connection quite a few times

I am from Pune, and have a 900UL plan which is always online. Of recent, i.e. in the last 1 month, the connection has been down about 3 times with varying periods of downtime. Whenever I have called up the customer care, the reply has been - server problems - some error #697 or #698. Some reported even as far away as at Bangalore. Can a server error in Bangalore affect services in other parts of the country? Have any of you been facing any similar problems.

The NIB (Nation Internet Backbone) servers are in Bangalore and hence a problem there could cause service breakdown. But I am not sure that that is the problem. It is usually a blame game - put the reason at some place where we cannot do anything.
