| Platinum Member | UL 900/UL 900+ gives connection at 256 kilo bits per second (kbps). So you will get a maximum download speed of 32 kilo bytes per second (KB/s). Momentarily you may get additional bursts upto 35 KB/s as you mentioned but those will not sustain. Your friends is also getting the same speed. As joy mentioned above there s a confusion between kb/s and KB/s.

Rep Power: 2 | ^ I use both IE and Firefox.Never saw download speed is displayed in kb/s. How can you say that his friend is getting confused between kb/s and kB/s? |

| Platinum Member | I made an error in stating that his friend is confused - it is Joy who has misunderstood. When his friend is saying he is getting 250~300 download speed under UL 900+ plan, he is actually meaning kb/s (or kbps) and not KB/s. You are right - any and every browser always displays the download speed in KB/s. |
