    Thumbs down login problem/doubt

    i have a question in my mind that is if my frnd use my login & password & download some data from net ,then in which id the bill came in my id or on his id because he is using his telephone line to download the data.

    It will come in your telephone bill. So be careful to who you provide your username and password.

    It will of course to your billing only and by the way i don't think it is possible in bsnl to browse using another's user name and password and/or another person's phone number if your bsnl telephone exchange has port binding option.

    Right. But I think that port binding has not been implemented everywhere. Only in Tier 1 and some big Tier 2 cities I think.

    Intrestingly my connection is not port binded (IP : 59.95.x.x)......i tried my frnds ID & Pass (ofcourse with his permission) on MY connection. surprisingly it gave, authantication failed error. does that mean that exchange's DSLAM is port binded?

    PS : my frnd have business plan & i have home......will that the reason for authentication failed? or BSNL is really taking care of customers?

    Default unable to open some sites

    hi guyz im unable to open sites mainly secured sites like icicibank.com hdfcbank.com, i hav bsnl broadband connection , can anyone help me regarding this problem as soon as possible plzzzzzzzzzzzzz

    it is port binded otherwise you would have been able to use your friend's account!!..
    @brahma.thi search the forums properly there has been a similar problem of not being able to access icici bank site.. some MTU problem i think

    thanks to all my frnd regarding my query, but my frnd uses my password & he has no problem its means it is not port binding.
