Thread: DATAONE 900UL speed increased

hey guys
all of you who are using 900ul plans are your speeds also incremented to 2.0 mbps ?? i have 900ul plan and am getting 257 kb/sec donload speed.
is it true or its server error ???

yea yea its true ..*jealous* .. but hey you never know other plans might get upgraded to 8 mbps.. but still you guys have a good deal..

as far as i know this speed increase is not official & until then nothing can be said about this speed increase & also not every user is getting this increased speed but only a few.

Damn! This kind of puts a spanner in my plans. Was initially planning on the 900 UL but then good folks here recommended getting the 500C or 500C+ but with the speed increase in 900 UL ... am confused again...

though download speed is not increased but many users have reported that upload speed is now equal to download speed & it seems that this change is going to be official.if you mainly use torrents then now you can maintain a good 1:1 ratio.as for speed increase it is a sarkari organization & may increase speed next month or next year.nothing is sure.

some users have also told that download speed has increased to 2 mbps.. i think they are planning to upgrade ul900 to 2mbps and other plans to 8 mbps.. but i dont think thats fair because there is alread a 2mbps business unlimited plan for around 10 or 15 k i think..

Yesterday, I did speed check 3 times during the day (and late evening). I found no change in speeds (download average = 260 kbps, upload average = 65 kbps). Once I did find upload = 265 kbps (265 not 256). We shall know in a month or two ...
