guys i still get 4-6 mbps bandwidth. but the thing is download speed is as usual 200-350KB/s. but the webpages load fast and all speedtests(from different sites) confirm 4-6 mbps bandwidth.
how come i don't get download speeds?
utorrent upload speeds are also only 150KB/s.
still a mystery.

higher line rates & speed test results does not necessarily mean you will also get high download speeds.many users in kolkata have 8mbps line rates due to IPTV & they always get speed test result of 8mbps but actual download speeds they get is still around 2mbps.

check broadband speed in bsnl page
press back button on ur browser
ull get t c some amazing speeds.. :P

read da key objectives.. it says "provide high speed Internet connectivity (upto 8 Mbps)".. i guess bsnl is surely gonna provide us with 8Mbps bandwidth soon..

I think 8Mbps Business Plan is already available i think..
Im under the 750UL Plan.. If i get 2Mbps connection, its a miracle to me..

BSNL will provide 8 mbps to home users in 2-3 years hopefully.
