how to effectively port forward (for u torrent) --bsnl dataone bband ---nokia siemens c2110 modem

go to portforwarding.com may be it can help you, but i am still having some problem with port forwarding as u-torrent still shows error, i dont know what the hell is wrong!! but if you are in bridge mode you dont have to worry about port forwarding as all the prots are already forwarded in bridge mode.

The Router Siemens C2110 is not in their list. This is a router which is similar as our router.

To set portforwarding, enter the modem configuration page by entering 192.168.1.1 in the address bar.

Enter username & password (usually admin is the username & pwd).

In the "My DSL Modem" tab select "Firmware Upgrade" and click on the link "Help". Then in the help page scroll up to find the help topic of "portforwarding". Then click "Back to Port Forwarding". You are now in the portforwarding page. [This is an alternative way to get into the portforwarding page. There is a correct way to show this page. But i dont know to upload the images in this page. So i am explaining this method. I think you fot it].

Then look the page from the site portforward.com[ The above link ].

Then do the rest as explained in the site. [Even the pictures in the site is not our modem's, the functions are same].

m sorry mine is the nokia siemens neworks c2110 and i dont see any help button
neither do i see virtual server or port forwarding button

it may be possible that this model of modem comes with a custom stripped down firmware like the newer ut300ru modems provided by bsnl which does not have option of port forwarding.my suggestion is use bridge mode for now.
