Thread: Broadband Works if My Telephone Line is connected

I have a unlimited Broadband from BSNL. I am using a DLINK ADSL modem and ADSL a wireless Router.
Often the ADSL Light is blinking. Sometimes it is not on. When i dial a number the number to connect via Dial-up Number 172224 from the telephone instrument, the ADSL becomes constant and PPOE alos gets activated. My broadband works. I have repeatedly complained the BSNL for a faulty telephone as even in the telephone line i get some disturbance while speaking.

Kindly let me know if anyone is facing a similar problem and how u got it rectified.
