at Rs.900 bsnl gives 256kbps unlimited but if you get lucky you might get 512kbps unlimited as reported by some users.in your area i think mtnl will be the service provider but i am not sure.still bsnl/mtnl's unlimited plns are slower.airtel gives 512kbps for around 800 i think & its customer service/feedback is very good.as for speed bsnl/mtnl gives upto 2mbps & for some lucky new users upto 3-4mbps but free download/usage time is 2-8AM(bsnl) & 12-8AM(mtnl).for rest of the time for whole month limit is very low.bsnl gives 2.5GB for Rs.500 & 5GB for Rs.1000.actual bill will be higher due to taxes etc.

Go for EVDO/NIC launched by BSNL,

    Its wireles.

    #3500 for connection-EVDO usb device-550/month-2.4mbps-unlimited
    #2800 for connection-NIC -250/month-144kbps-unlimited

Check for availability in your area.

There is only one unlimited plan available at around Rs. 1000 and that is 900 plan which comes with a speed of 256 kbps. But if you apply for 500 home plan you will get up to 2 mbps speed and the night time usage is free to download and would suggest you that if you can make up all your downloads during nighttime!
