    Default can anyone help me out

    hi freinds i am new to this forum

    actually i am having problems connecting to internet

    i am using bsnl broadband 900ul

    actually i am able to connect to he internet but i amunable to browse internet

    in the connection diallogue the sent data is more than the received data

    can anyone help me out

    go to network connections,right click on your network(LAN or Wi-Fi connection) and select properties under the options select TCP/IP double click on it then select the option enter ip address manually then type these settings

    IP address:192.168.1.(any number b/w 2-254)
    subnet mask:255.255.255.0
    default gateway:192.168.1.1

    preferred DNS:192.168.1.1 or 208.67.220.220
    secondary DNS:208.67.222.222

    tell me if these settings work for you

    yes.. i think all you need to meddle with is your DNS servers as mentioned above.. just try changing it to open dns servers which are 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
