    Exclamation Iam In Dagerous Situation...help Me

    I am living in small town , problem is that default bb password "password'. i think my internet connection is not port bind because when i apply my friend's username and password ican login successfully.so its not safe for me too,our local bsnl people doesn't know very much.PLZ FRIENDS TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO?

    You cannot do anything on your part to protect yourself from being hacked of your password and others using it elsewhere since your broadband is not port binded. You can protect this somehow by changing your password frequently!

    if you have an unlimited plan set the router to pppoe mode and set up an always on connection by doing this you will be connected all the time therefore no one else can use your account because you are already login with your username and password and obviously no two connections can connect with the same username and password

    ur local bsnl JTO or some other person must have knowledge about port binding. let them insist to do so.
    otherwise, configuring modem in PPPoe mode also has a problem that- when there is any discontinuity in connection by any means it is prone to misuse.

    First and foremost, change your password.

    second configure your modem to bridge mode. One way of hacking the password is through our modem. so change it. now.
