Rep Power: 0  |  Unable to make dataone wireless I have a HUAWEI MT882 usb modem, Netgear DG834G v3 ADSL Modem router, Laptop Dell Vostro 1000 (Windows vista), Desktop (Windows XP). I have dataone broadband connected to my desttop which is working perfectly. I am unable to use Netgear router to make my laptop wireless - using the step by step guide given in this forum. Problems I faced- I am unable to log in to Hauwei interface I tired to connect to dataone using the Netgear modem router using PPPoE but unable to do so. I cant access internet on my laptop. I need internet on my destop and laptop. Please help. Thanks in advance. |

Rep Power: 1  | do you have inbuilt wi-fi in your laptop? and you have said that you have netgear router to make your laptop wireless,in this case you are wrong you cant make your laptop wireless with a router( i suppose), a router's job is only to route the internet connection to other computers at the same time. for making your laptop wireless you need to buy a wi-fi card which will be fitted into the slot provided for adding various other cards |

Rep Power: 0 | Unable to make dataone wireless Yes. My dell do have WiFi and had infact browsing one of the WiFi network. But cant make things work at home!! |
