Thread: Help me with wireless set-up for sl2_141 modem

I am a system admin for a SME. Now my boss has gone for BSNL broadband connection with Siemens SL2_141 wireless modem.
I was able to set-up the broadband but I am unsuccesful with the wireless connection.

Please help me as my job is in line.

Do I have to purchase a separate router along with the Siemens SL2_141 modem to make the wireless work.
Please folks help me???

no since its a wireless modem you can use that itself.. what problem are you facing? are you not able to see your wireless network from laptop??.. go to http://192.168.1.1 type admin/admin or admin/password as username/password .. then go to the wireless tab and fill in the SSID(wireless name) and also a WEP key(like a password).. save/reboot.. and you should see your wireless network from a laptop under the name you have entered in SSID
