I had applied for the dataone connection on 24th march
got the username password on 28th march
installed and used on 30th march for atleast 2 hours,
disconnected then once again connected the net 4 times

STILL STILL my usage shows nothing - 500C PLAN

I am now using the same connection will I be billed for the rest of March ?
If so has any body been billed for fraction of a month

i was billed only for the fraction of the month not the whole month.

You will be charged for the days that you have used or from when you got the connection and not for the whole month, this is how it works at least on the first month of the connection. If they charge you for full month, you can go to bsnl office and claim back the rest, they will do it for sure.
