Thread: Plan change from home 500 to home UL900: when will it start working

I recently gave application for change of plan from home 500 to home UL 900 +

If i go and check BSNL site it is showing

My Order Details

Orderid 937031
Order Type Plan Change
Plan Name Home UL 900 Plus
Order Status Open

does this means that my plan is changed or it is still the old home 500 because i m still getting download speeds of around 150 KB/sec

well i think you can make out by the speed..home 500 is 2mbps.. and ul900 is 256kbps.. . .it say s OPEN.. i dont think its done yet

Never ever make your own guesses on bsnl and start downloading thinking that your plan has changed. Just try to wait for this month getting over and see the bill next month to see whether the plan has been changed or not. Or login to your bsnl login and check frequently to confirm.

Try speed test at speedtest.net. That will give you a clear indication. The Home 500 plan speed is 256~2048 kbps whereas UL900 plan speed is 256 kbps max.

But do not start heavy downloading right now. Wait for the new billing cycle.

to avoid any excess billing wait for the bill first in which your plan should be mentioned as home 900.bsnl portal shows the plan change immediately but billing is done in a different department & they are not as fast as the portal itself.
