hey by the way ......i got that ...done ...its now working ....i mean modem and both the netgear in bridge mode .....
i had put that modem ka cable in internet port ...now i corrected it as u said .....
but a slight problem my laptop is showing limited connectivity .......i dont know why ?
got any clues?

thats cause you are not getting an ip probably..post ipconfig output here

And at my laptop ..i am getting all zeros for the wireless network connection



But atleast that DHCP of Netgear should have given my laptop an ip ,dont u think so ?

ok.. you have to change your setup here.. you say you have multiple pcs right?? so then you cannot use the dialing method.. you have to use ppoe mode.. the dialing method can be used only for 1 pc

Ya thats ok ...but see if we have just the wireless router ...and no internet connection to it or even no wireless connection to it and say it is configured for DHCP then we can connect multiple wireless devices to it .....right ..then why not in this case .....

suppose i consider that i have not dialled from the wired pc and i am trying to connect the laptop on it then ...it should connect ...to the wireless router ....despite there is not internet connection .....?
What say?

yes it should.. try disabling and enabling the wifi card and see

hey no issues i got it ......
i mean i just renewed the ip address on the laptop .....it gave me a ip .....on i too
the only thing is that i will have to use just one machine for downloading ...thats fine ...i can switch off other machine ..and just keep my laptop on ...using those scripts .....

exactly thats where you will have a problem.. you cannot use internet simultaneously on both pcs in this dialing mode.. for that you need to change to the netgear ppoe mode(your previous setup) and you can use night unlimited using the telnet script

U got any help on telnet scripts ..i will try working on them ......?
Or u can simply give me the source where i can learn ..writing telnet scripts ....
ofcourse i will do google on it ..but incase if u got some stuff do giveme ....
