you should connect the cable from bsnl modem to LAN port of the netgear not WAN port

U mean from the BSNL modem to the NEtgear ....4 LAN port ?
cos i had connected to the internet port of the netgear router ....?

yes to the 4LAN port not to the internet port

hey one more question do u know the commands to enable and disable Intel Wireless PROset?
So that i can put those in batch file and even then all will work?

i am not aware of that command..hopefully somebody else would help you with that.. any reason for enabling and disabling?

i thought that i will keep netgear in PPPoE mode so that the connection will always remain on and then i will schedule that command for turning the wireless adapter on and off as required .....
and then that bittorrent will start and stop when ever it receiver the internet connection......
What do u think will it be ok?

no.. that wont do.. cause your connection has to be disconnected and reconnected at 2:15am and 7:45 am respectively..
