IS A TECHNICAL TERM........MEANING SETTING OF PARTICULAR FREQUENCY TO A LINE

Broadband Line Frequency is different from normal line frequency.......

JUST GO TO UR LOCAL EXCHANGE AND ASK THEM IF THEY HV JUMPERED YOUR LINE FOR HIGHSPEED INTERNET...........

did bsnl mention anywhere that they will provide warrantee to modems purchased from them anywhere?this is the question BSNL's 2nd most senior official & in charge of broadband(DE,broadband)asked me when i asked him about this after my modem fried.if you can find some document/written proof where bsnl is claiming warranty for modems purchased from them let me know.

there's no warranty dude....bsnl ppl themselves told me that they won't change the modem nor they wud refund any money.

But guys apart from this i have encountered a new problem, and hope that u would try to solve it or i would have to get the modem replaced soon.....

the problem is

"When I Power On my NOKIA SEIMENS C2110 MODEM, All the lights flash up and remain flashing without any connectivity,

i mean there is no detection of modem (when connected on USB)
As Well As
There is only limited connectivity (when connected with Ethernet)

Also I cannot open 192.168.1.1"

Blinking all LED on modem is adaptor problem. Probably you will not find the 5.1v adaptor in the market.

Calcutta Telephones users may try a test username and password. This will connect the modem to DSLAM but not open any webpage

USERNAME --- bbtest

PASSWORD --- bsnlmp


Please create a separate bb dialup icon, do not use your existing dialler.
