Cool Solution to Link blink problem, but found another new problem with C2110 modem....!!!

Hey guys,,

if u r suffering from problem that u can't connect to net.
and the link light on ur modem keeps on blinking.....
then here is the solution....

1. get ur modem checked at ur local exchange (not city exchange).

2. if the modem is correct then ask them to find out if ur modem has been JUMPERED for BroadBand Connection on your line or not (this is the main problem i hv identified, as most of new connections hv not been jumpered correctly)

3. then tell them to test ur modem on your line from their Local Exchange Unit....

4. ThatsAll,,,,,, it Works,,, Believe me...!!!

======================================
But guys apart from this i have encountered a new problem, and hope that u would try to solve it or i would have to get the modem replaced soon.....

the problem is

"When I Power On my NOKIA SEIMENS C2110 MODEM, All the lights flash up and remain flashing without any connectivity,

i mean there is no detection of modem (when connected on USB)
As Well As
There is only limited connectivity (when connected with Ethernet)

Also I cannot open 192.168.1.1"

I Think Modem is faulty...

afterall it is China Made.......

and thats why it has stopped working just in 2 days......

Hey,,,,,,
Tell me what is the procedure to give modem back to BSNL and get back Refund Money....
I dont want to rely on China Made Modem

I would rather like to spend a bit more and buy a ADSL Modem of good quality and atleast not made in china..... i mean modems made in Korea and USA are much better and reliable.......

What u think.....

Also tell me Which modem should i buy ????????????

--------------------------
I know this modem has stopped working b'coz of Fluctuations --------- said BSNL Official

as a last resort you can reset the modem by pressing the button in the hole on back using a pin & keep pushing for 20-30 sec.my modem is SIEMENS c2110 too & its a good model.as for china made almost all the major electronics companies(including SONY,TOSHIBA etc) now made their products there.SIEMENS is a very good company & relatively much better than some other modems provided by BSNL.
