    Default BSNL-improved drastically

    hello everybody
i am very astonished to see that BSNL has improved.I am using UL900 plus plan and i am getting download speed of 30 KB/s avg. and thats very good for an unlimited user as the speed is capped to only 256kbps so you cannot get more than 32 KB/s .I have heard that some people are getting more than 32KB/s , i dont know how but i am sure that they get these speeds for a second or two.

well...i am happy with my unlimited plan earlier the speed sucks i was managing to get only 10-15 KB/s but now its improved i am getting 30KB/s even in the peak hours!!!

please tell your experience about your internet speed is it improved or .........it is worse than ever

i have home 500 & i usually get speeds around 220-230KBps while for a 2mbps connection max speed is 256KBps.maybe because i am 2KM from exchange but some users say that with same distance they get 250-260KBps.i guess it all depends on local exchange.

For a government organization this is really good
i think BSNL is aggressive and also providing service which has value for money

Over all BSNL has improved a lot and is in par or better than the private players

it depends buddy.. i cant say its good or bad...
i used to download max 6.5GB + 2.5GB=9GB from 2-8AM for few days...
for another day.. got only 300MB from 2-8AM
mostly in torrent if i put 10 files... then i can see 250-260KBps... then it will go down to 150KBps.. then again will pick up to 340KBps...

i could say... it depends on ur luck..

I think to some extrent speed depends on the server/host ur downloading. but yeh i usually get 1.4-1.7 MBps wid IDM.

i met one user from ludhiyana who managed to get 4mbps on some days & downloaded 11GB in free time.he almost always get 2.1-2.3mbps while we are getting 1.8mbps.

It actually varies from time to time. when i was in unlimited plan, i too was experiencing such speeds occasionally but after some days it will be gone back to regular speed which we get with unlimited plans. But if you are lucky enough, you would get it continously too!
