Default Not able to connect to my Laptop using WA1003A

Hi Guys,

I bought a new laptop. at present i'm using my broadband by connecting to my pc uding LAN cable.

when i try to detect my modem. it shows a connected in my laptop. but i could not able to surf internet.
I called my bsnl guys, he enable AP in wireless Setup tab in 192.168.1.1
but i could not able to connect.
I try by setting the IP address of WAN to 192.168.1.11
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Preffered DNS: 61.1.96.69
Alternate DNS: 61.1.96.71
I did lot of R&D for the past three week but nothing helped me..
Any help in this will be helpful.

Thanks in advance

first of all if you are sure your connection settings are setup for bsnl correctly(VPI/VCI values 0&35 respectively) then go ahead or start from beginning.for a start you do not set WAN IP it is given to you by bsnl.

hi ,

if you are having a windows vista as the operting system , then that may be the cause as vist do not provide connectivity to some DHCPs check this link

Windows Vista cannot obtain an IP address from certain routers or from certain non-Microsoft DHCP servers
