Hi, Since the past few days, my net has been very erratic; today, I faced a lot of modem disconnections; I was downloading files from RapidShare, and when half or sometimes more than 80% of the file downloaded, all of a sudden the connection broke; I almost suspect the BSNL people were purposely doing it. I hardly downloaded anything today; see:  Alright, my problem is this: at present I am downloading an HD version of the movie "The Chronicles of Riddick", which is of around 8.5 GB, and has 83 100 MB .rar files of the movie, apart from subtitles and stuff. It is getting to be really difficult to download so much stuff. What I am suggesting is that is it possible for people who download movies and stuff, of a particular city (like Delhi, or Bangalore, or Bombay), to team up, meet each other, and discuss what they download, and then divide the downloads between them? Its not so strange as it sounds... Me? I live in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. I don't know anyone here who downloads stuff. So if there is someone (even in Ahmedabad), and if it can be arranged... And yes, maybe we should make a rule here: no sharing of porn, since that is a bit locha-wala business (though of course, once you get to know each other, you can share anything you like). (I hope this thread does not violate the forum rules in any way). All of you, do reply please. Thanx. |

Rep Power: 5 |  this could be because of your telephone setup.. you need to place all your telephones after the splitter.. make sure no telephones are connected between the splitter and the tel line from the pole.. read this for more info Prashanth Speaks-Technology and Life: Frequent Disconnection in DSL connection |
