Being slightly offtopic, I am quite amused, bemused and perplexed by the language/text of the thread starter. I mean what is this big deal about not using the correct spelling? Consider these words: wid (with), jus (just), dey (they), nd (and), etc. What is being achieved by omitting one letter and replacing another letter?

A word of advice - this kind of text is OK for SMS but extremely frowned upon in the corporate world. Better get out of this habit quickly.

p/s. I am quite tolerant of misspells but clearly this isn't such a case.

Well friend. You don't have to apologize. By correcting yourself, you have shown a willingness to accept your (for want of a better word) mistake (if indeed it was one).

The danger of using such language is that it will cause irrevocable damage to your written communication and maybe oral as well. We cannot use such spellings in our official mails, etc. To rise in the corporate world, iniatially it will be your technical skills but after that it will be your soft skills - language, communication, leadership, direction, presentations, customer facing, etc., etc.

Hence I will advise you not to use SMS like language even while chatting.

Actually there is a new portal for new bsnl broadband users henceforth, could not get it when i was typing it but do search this forum, there were very many discussions about that new portal address, you will get it for sure.

Thanks for the sentiments. I was feeling like an oldie (which I am) with a tremendous generation gap. I am glad that you all young chaps agree with me.
