Rep Power: 2 | hey der guyz, im provided wiv ZTE ZXDSL 831 AII, type1 modem frm BSNL which supports no wireless. cos i wanted to use wireless for my laptop n bsnl has no any other modems available in my area i chose RENTAL, incase i nid to change. i nid u guy' wise help going wireless..shud i buy n attach router? or since its on rent, shud i buy a new wireless modem frm the markt n return this to bsnl..??? also pls suggest on the purchase..money no issue. thnxs in advance. :-) |

Rep Power: 5 | you could buy an ADSL wifi router once and for all, so you dont have to keep paying rent every month..if you are certain you will be using broadband for the next 2 years(which mostly is the case). i think its just a waste of money to pay every month..you could go for bsnl's wireless modem itself, i dont think anyone has any complaints with it, not heard of any in the forums or anywhere else.. if you want to buy a good one i suggest Dlink or netgear... they have some really good wifi routers |

| Platinum Member | BSNl modems are not upto the mark but keeping price in mind they are worth the money but if you can shell out the dough buy an ADSL wifi router from good manufacturers like Netgear or Linksys they are available in the range 2k-3k |
