Default help! nid wirelesss on Type1, ZTE ZXDSL 831 AII, modem.

hey der guyz,
im provided wiv ZTE ZXDSL 831 AII, type1 modem frm BSNL which supports no wireless. cos i wanted to use wireless for my laptop n bsnl has no any other modems available in my area i chose RENTAL, incase i nid to change.

i nid u guy' wise help going wireless..shud i buy n attach router? or since its on rent, shud i buy a new wireless modem frm the markt n return this to bsnl..???

also pls suggest on the purchase..money no issue.

you could buy an ADSL wifi router once and for all, so you dont have to keep paying rent every month..if you are certain you will be using broadband for the next 2 years(which mostly is the case). i think its just a waste of money to pay every month..you could go for bsnl's wireless modem itself, i dont think anyone has any complaints with it, not heard of any in the forums or anywhere else..
if you want to buy a good one i suggest Dlink or netgear... they have some really good wifi routers

i think u missed the point..no other modems available with bsnl at my area. i wish they could provide me with their own wireless modem but they say its not available :-(

BSNl modems are not upto the mark but keeping price in mind they are worth the money but if you can shell out the dough buy an ADSL wifi router from good manufacturers like Netgear or Linksys they are available in the range 2k-3k

well my query is...shud i buy wifi modem n return the current rental to bsnl or u think i shud keep type1 n purchase the router??
