    Exclamation ^"speed"^?

    [B]In Home Plan UL 750. What can be the download speed 256 KBPS or beyond that?[B]

    in the home 750 UL plan the max download speed you can do is 256/8 = 32 KBps

    The connection is a 256 kbps connection so the download will be 32 KBps

    it is the theoretical speed 32KB/s but if you are lucky you can get a lot more than that...............

    i think for kolkata users,, bsnl increased the speed for UL900... for other its still 30KBps

    I live in Pune. But I never get more than 30 KB/s in torrents even when there are lot of seeds. The average is 25-26 KB/s.

    what do you mean by "its a big IF" and let me tell you something even i am living in a small city i managed to get speeds of 48KB/s or more..........but only for few seconds

    i think it all depends how far you are form the exchange, load on the port etc

    but on the whole in general for a 256 kpbs connection i have seen speed only up to 30 to 35 KBps

    can anyone confirm whether the so called plans have come into being...no official paper on that

    ya... IF = only for few seconds
    im in H500 and i used to get 1.4mbps for few secs.... we should not consider this speed..
