    Question Best broadband connection?

Hey guys this is my first post in indiabroadband. I am from Bangalore. Currently i have Airtel Mobile Office (Rs. 20 talktime per day). The speed is very low. I want to have a nw broadband connection. Can you please help me?

    My requirments...

    My budget +- ~Rs. 600/- to 700/-
Downloads per month around 30 to 40 GB
Most of the time work at night

Which one will be best choice for me? BSNL, AIRTEL, RELIANCE, TATA or Sify?

What about BSNL 2 MBPS for 125/- or Home UL 900 PLUS for 900/- and Airtel 256 kbps UL for 700/-? Rel 300 kbps for 999/-?

    Thanks in advance....

Your best bet should be with BSNL or Airtel.

BSNL's 125 plan is no good at all. It's usage limit is very low (125 MB) and does not have a free night-time period.

BSNL's UL 900/UL 900+ are now renamed as UL 750 and UL 750+ respectively. They allow unlimited download at 256 kbps.

The best BSNL plans are Home 500 C and Home 500 C+. Check out here.

    Thumbs up thanx just4kix

thank you. i also prefer BSNL or Airtel.

BSNL Home 500 C+ is good but but it is not UL. So I would prefer Home UL 900 PLUS. Is it slower than Home 500 C+ ?

What about Airtel 256 kbps UL for 700/- ?

For all BSNLs plans, refer here: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd..

However, from April 1, BSNL changed UL900 to UL750. Same plan except that monthly rate is Rs. 750. They also introduced two new unlimited called UL1350 and UL1350+ plans (512 kbps for Rs. 1350).

Since you mentioned that you will work mostly at night, I suggested Home 500 C/C+ plans.
