i use a wireless modem WA3002G4

can a person having wirless laptop near by my surroundoings can use my broadband or not?.....

How to secure.....? & how to set passwords for wirless conncetion

go to security settings in wifi of your modem settings & enable WEP.you will then be asked to enter a key/password.after that restart your modem & then whenever you or any one else want to connect to your wifi he has to enter the key.
