Exclamation Slashed Charges for Unlimited Home Plans

BSNL slashed unlimited home plans from 900 to 750.
Now the new plans are UL750PLUS and UL750 for 256 Kbps Unlimited.
People already under 900 plans please check with the provider.

Now as this remains an information to many, I can't resist myself from
    speaking out the connection procedures...

The initial paper work and other procedures are manageable until the line man comes to your house. He'll make you believe that there is no free line or some other blah blah, so asks for a huge amount for getting the actual connection. You need to pay not only to him for a phone line but also to the high officials who comes from the office to your home for the broadband connection. All this happens when there is a tight competition in this market.

I was an Airtel user and I was forced to take this because of the lack of lines for Airtel after shifting my house. I recommend Airtel for their service and customer satisfaction unless there is a service unavailability.

Is it really true or what??!! I was with unlimited plan for long time and only recently changed to 500 plan due to speed issues with unlimted plan. Perhaps if the rate was for Rs. 750 for unlimited, i would have stated with it itself, still if it is slow, i would have managed it!! But again i need to go to bsnl and change the plan if it is true!!

Though i could not find it officially in bsnl dataone's tariff page till now, it is still showing Rs. 900 only. By the way, how do you know about this change of tariff for unlimited plans? is there any news that you read about it, can you post the link if it is online?

Rate may be reduced from 900 to 750 but speed is still the same.

    Exclamation

I came to know by actually visiting their office. It is no where listed or offcially declared in their site. I also saw an advertisement in TOI stating 900 for UL plans. But check with their office for the actual tariff change from 900 to 750.

I totaly disagree his comments, Airtel is the worst service providers, I am using BSNL Broadband past 3 yrs no problem at all and no bribing to any official. I am using at Hydreabad and Bangalore residence without any problem. Please avoid distrubuting such a wrong news to everyone. I promise BSNL is the best in service as well as tariff. No one in India gives 512 Kbps unlimited for Rs.1350 plus plan and Rs.0.80 per call which is effective from Apr 2008.
