Thread: When?

Hi friends i have heard a lot about bsnl changing its home 900 ul plan to 750 it might be true[it will be confirmed after 1 month].But is there any possibility of increasing there speed[some say the people of kolkata and kerala are getting].What are the chances of other people getting that speed?and when?I am damn frustrated by this snail speed.When is the people of India will get the speed to match the rest of the world[developed one]?I think i must say that i sorely miss the former telecommunication minister D.Maran.Atleast he tried to upgrade everything.Anyway point is bsnl must change positively to its own good.

i'm sure that bsnl is aware that pune and kerala users are getting high speeds in UL plans..maybe they are trying to upgrade.. and slowly will do so all over the country and then officially announce..no one knows what they are doing..all we can do is PREDICT!!

I am from Pune and I have never got the astonishing speeds (in UL plans) that everyone seems to be quoting.

only few lucky users got those speeds for few days/weeks.currently i don't know anyone getting 2mbps on home 900 but some users claims that they sometimes get 512kbps on their 256kbps plan.

Still a long way to in terms of getting very high speed that all the developed nations are getting. They are now concentrating only on giving connections to those who don't have and they might concentrate on speed later, i suppose.
