Default Help needed:: to configure NAT/Port forwarding for a BSNL Wireless (Siemens SL2-141)?

I have a Siemens SL2-141 Wireless router supplied by BSNL and it is a new one. I had used another router which had some problems and had been replaced. It was a USTARcom wireless router. I was able to configure Port Forwarding to enhance my uTorrent downloads and uploads. I had the "Advanced" options and I could easily set up the "Virtual Servers" and enable NAT in that USTARcom router.

My issue is that I am not able to configure the new Siemens SL2-141 Wireless router as it DOES NOT have an "Advanced" settings option in the configuration panel. All it has is the general setup options to setup the internet using PPPoE.

I have checked www(dot)portforward(dot)com website to find out how to configure the SL2-141 and did not find the same software/configuration panel in the screenshots shown in that website. I searched through the entire Siemens Router list and also the Efficient-Siemens, Fujitsu Siemens, USTARcom and the BT Voyager router configuration steps to find a configuration panel that resembles mine. I was not able to find the similar panel in that website and not in any other websites that i tried to search through google.

I am attaching the images of the homepage(where i reach when i type in 192.168.1.1 with admin/admin) and also the WAN configuration page. I am also attaching the final page of the WAN configuration that says NAT Is ENABLED in the router. But, I am not able to find a way on how to configue the NAT and add my computer's IP address and port to forward it.

Also, I am attaching the image that says NAT is NOT ENABLED when I am using Bridging instead of PPPoE. I have set my PPPoE connection to be connected as soon as i turn on the computer (I disabled the Dial on demand). And, as I understand, the bridge mode doesn't at all use NAT and it wouldn't be a problem for me. The attached images include the Device Info page and the DSL settings page in case if anybody want to look into that.

Something strange that I have noted other than not able to find the Advanced configuration menu, I am not able to Logout of the Router configuration menu. Even if I close the window and open it in a new window, the homepage shows up without even asking me to enter the password. If i restart the router, and then open up the page(192.168.1.1), it asks for the username and password. I am not sure if I need to enter any other username or password(other than admin/admin) to get the advanced configuration setup menu. I dont even have a DMZ mode in the router setup.

The troubleshooting step I did is software reset of the router, and then I entered and configured WAN again and I am able to connect to internet as I always had, but the Port Forwarding still doesn't work and uTorrent gives me the error that "A firewall/router is limiting your internet traffic. You need to open up a port so others can connect to you." I am NOT using any other routers other than the one BSNL supplied me, and the firewall and antivirus in the computer is turned OFF. I am gettin the same error in all three computers(one is connected directly via cable to the router and the other two are wireless). But, all three are able to connect to internet fine and is enjoying good connection speed while downloading directly from any server. Only uTorrent has the issue, and it still says Port Forwarding is not done, it has error.

So, can you guys help me solve this prob?

Do you see a DMZ option under NAT or Firewall?

in normal mode you can not access siemens advanced functions like DMZ,port forwarding etc.open help page(usually in the firmware update option) & then in that page look for port forwarding help.below that help info there should be a link to port forwarding page.click on that & you will see the port forwarding page.at least this is how it is in siemens type 1 models.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

    thanx for replying.

Well... its quite a different menu options that I get through the router configuration window when i navigate to 192.168.1.1 using admin/admin. There is NO "firmare update" page or any link that refers to that, and also NO Virtual Server or DMZ as you have mentioned.

But, anyways, I finally sorted it out myself and I am quite happy to see the green checkbox in the uTorrent and it says the Port Forwarding is working fine

I am thinking about preparing a small Walk-through on how to do port-forwarding effectively on ANY ROUTER, no matter how the Menu Configuration Panel looks like.

    Thanks again

PS: I would post it as a Sticky if that is possible
