    I am not interested in maths so i try to take a guess work

    2MBS = you get 200/256 KBPS download

    so

    1MBPS = 128Kbps

    512KBPS = 64Kbps (Download speed)

    64Kbps x 60 seconds = 3.8 MB (3840) per minute

    3.8 MB X 60 mintues = 228 MB

    if i download all day

    i would download? 228 x 24 = 5472 ( 5.4GB )

    only if i get 64KBPS?

    UL 1350 is being offered at 512 kbps. So you will get a max of of 64 kBps download speed. Assuming that you are downloading all day long and you get a constant speed, you can, in theory, download 64 x 60 x 60 x 24 kilobytes (you do the math).

    offcourse not. as 750 users are getting 30 - 32 KB/s so mathematically 1350UL should get 60 - 64KB/s average

    thats correct for 512 plan user should get 60-64kbps but sometimes speed goes down due to a number of reasons (in direct download and in p2p download too)

    i m using 512 unlimited plan and my ISP is sify... few months back my connection was working very slow but now its working fine and for all download i get proper speed between 58-64 kbps and sometimes it shoot upto 72-80kbps for hours...

    Good to hear that.... Previously I used to get 30 Kbps avg for download and f**g 6 Kbps upload speed for UL 900+ plan (256 kbps).

    yea.. when i used UL 900.. i would get max 30kbps as well.. i dont care about the upload speed.

    but im happy i shifted to 500C+.. i get good speeds and with a good night of downloadin.. i can download more than what i would have in 750 or 1350 plan..

    @ Smoothvibes

    Which Sify plan do you use??.. from what i hear its givin good speeds.. wats the cost and wher du stay (City) ???
