Thread: I need an angel!!!!! to help me connect my bsnl broadband.......

Plz... someone tel me how to set up a new connection with BSNL Broadband home UL950+ that is now changed 2 home UL750+ with a siemens c2110 modem. I'm able to connect d net by going to d ip address http:://192.168.1.1/ but the link led in my modem is continuously blinking and i am not able to connect my net by creating a new network in windows it gives an error number: 825. That so if I connect my computer with the IP address i have mentioned it gives a mere speed of 30kB/s whreas my friend with a same connection plan gets a speed of about 160-256kB/s.
Plz...... someone help me!!!!!!!!

Ya bro everyday and sometimes it gets even better the speed goes up to 230KB/s... can you believe this!!!! This means you can download a full DVD Quality movie in just an hour... What a broadband but shame it has such a bull sh*t service for customer complaints!!!!!!!!!!

it could be because he's connected to a different exchange.any way you connect you will get same speed..Probably waiting for some time may help , they probably are upgrading slowly.

Ok!!!! the wait is over and they came n changed the modem that was faulty... Thank god they came after giving them 100's of phone calls n complaints now the link light is stable n i'm able to connect net through my windows without going to the IP address http://192.168.1.1/
But there is another problem i.e. my speeeeeeed that is merely going to 20kB/s...
Hope it increases aftersome days of my net usage coz i do not have energy to complaint more!!!!!!!!!

home 750 speed is 256kbps or 32KBps max.you can not get 160-225KBps on a 256kbps connection but only on a 2mbps plan.
