Thread: Mistake or Ignorance ?

I have changed my plan from H250 to H500C
From bill it seems change is in effect from 14th of march
ie, 13 days in H250
18 days in H500C

Fixed charge= Rs. 72.00
Call charges= Rs. 225.00
Debits= Rs. 1071.94------------------------here is the TARGET k
TAXES= Rs. 103.90

GROSS AMOUNT= Rs. 1473/-

Fixed charge as rent = Rs.72
(For 13 days as per H250 ~(180/30)*13)

=============================

Metered calls = 330
Less free calls = 105
(here they apply H500C ie, (175/30)*18 = 105 free calls OK
So CALL charges = Rs.225

=============================


Debits = Rs. 1071.94

Here
Net usage=1208 MB
Less free usage=1208-1024(as per H250 cutoff)=184 MB
Usage Charge= Rs. 165.60

Fixed charges for net
for 13 days (250/31)*13= Rs. 104.84
for 18 days (500/31)*18= Rs. 290.32
Total fixed = Rs. 403.22
CESS = Rs. 3.12

So TOTAL debits =(usage charge+Total fixed+CESS)
= 165.60+403.22+3.12 = Rs. 571.94

But they charged another Rs. 500 as broadband deposit for the month WHAT IS THAT?
Does anyone know about it.

They charged Rs. 500 as advance rental.

bro u r miscalculating i.e instead of 1024 mb(as 250 plan) ur free limit will be 1024/30*13 .e443 not 1024.her is remaining 500rs.

(here they apply H500C ie, (175/30)*18 = 105 free calls OK

just like this same formula your data transfer limits too will be calculated alongwith monthly rent of the two plans so you won't get 1024MB limit in home 250 & 2560MB limit in home 500 plan for the month.

After having analysed the bill details, they appear to be correct.

But just for your peace of mind, you can visit the billing center and ask them to explain the charges. My personal experience with BSNL is that these people have become more courteous - but that is me.
