Unhappy Virus Detected..
I used this software a lot .. I am really thankful to Shajul .. but now my latest updated Antivirus ( Avast Home ) is detecting it as a virus... so I changed my Antivirus ( just to use this useful s/w ..) .. I shifted to AVG .. but the problem still exists ... please help dude Shajul .. load of downloads are pending....

go to ur antivirus settings and add the path to this software file to the "exceptions" list. Antivirus wont bother it again as long as it stays at that location.....
try it.

Avast has resident protection .. so even if I set the path to the exception ... it will still detect...

I m using bitdefender 2008 total-security, its considered as the most powerful antivirus software, it also has resident shield/runtime memory protection , even bitdefender doesnt pose a problem in such cases.........

anyway, u can give it a try (the exception listing), wont hurt to check. If that doesnt work - u have no choice but to change Antivirus.
let us know what happens...

i keep it connected from 10 pm and they do not charge me for 2-8 i have tested it daily

Hi,

I am using Dataone connection in Hyd. i have plan 500C >> 1.5GB download.

I tried to download in morning hours >> free time >> that time speed is very slow >> around <5~7 kbps.

and after 8 AM the speed is increased upto 70~80 kbps, I think BSNL People put some automatic capping on the download speed.

Put your experiance, as now i m planning to change 750/- plan for unlimited download, but worried about the speed.. or some of the persons are using Airtel, with the same plan and telling that the speed is good in 256 kbps plan.

I AM WRITING IN CAPS, 'CAUSE I WANT TO MAKE THIS POINT VERY CLEAR!!

THIS SOFTWARE IS NOT A VIRUS!!

It has been written with a program called Autohotkey wwwautohotkeycom (WTF, i am not allowed URL's)! The same program can be used to write many software and automation tasks. It has been abused before by virus makers...

If you still think this is a virus, please install Autohotkey from wwwautohotkeycom/download/ ! I am attaching the script of the program (source code). This way you can check for yourself that this is not a virus...

The additional benefits of this approach are that you can modify the program to suit your needs also!!

The danger is here.

Someone modifies the program and uploads
it say in Rapidshare /megaupload etc.
May or may not be virus loaded.

It depends from where the program is downloaded,
from your blog site etc.
You must protect the program code .

Any modifications, user/s have to contact
you, and a revised version can be updated,
if needed.
