My dear friend. Many thanks for your software. But my Norton Interner Security 2008 detects that file as a virus.

What is your answer for this? and what can I do?

You dont do anything LOL..
Shajul has already given the source code (Post no 100) of his s/w and had already told us the reason behind the Virus reporting by antiviruses..

If you dont have time to read his posts.. but have enough time to put alligations.. it will be better for you to dont do anything just relacks.

the dataone manager performs manual connection and disconnections....but the dataone manager does not disconnect at 1 57/1 58 etc..as said....what should i do??
ive got a DNA A211 -I router....
ive changed the connection to bridge...but the LAN(100 mps) connection is on even when the dataone manager is connected like a dail up..is this normal?

Instead of relying on tools, u can use RASDIAL command in WinXP to establish the connection as well as disconnect it. It is much more suitable because the connection is configured in bridge mode.

Yes the LAN card icon will be displayed, but u can disable it. In the properties window of the LAN Card, please uncheck Show icon in notification area when connected.

Since he has mentioned that he is on bridged mode now, i suggested the RASDIAL method.

Are u able to telnet the router? Do u know the command to reboot the router after telnetting? Then its really easy once u know these parameters. U can create a script which does all of this automatically. I am personally using one of such scripts to reboot the router at 2:05am and 7:55am

When the LAN connection is on, it doesn't mean that you are connected to the internet. You need not worry about that.

I had used http://www.indiabroadband.net/mtnl-b....html#post7197 (Triband NU Solution, Automated router reboot) to automate the entire process in my D-Link 2540T

well.. i am able to use telnet.. but i dont have script.. before kixxi n i made soemthing.. but dint worked.. so kept tht idea aside. if u can help me out with the script than may me it will be a great work

Please checkout the script which is present in the above post of mine. Did u try it? Ofcourse i can help u out, i need some parameters. The telnet username/password and the command required to reboot the router. This maybe reboot or restart or something else. Please verify it and pm me with the details

U just need to substitute the above mentioned values in the general script and u will also be able to reboot the router.

and after tht last attempt... i formatted my os.. installed again.. now in telnet it comes nto connected.. how to make it working??

Telnet is not available directly with windows vista. Please follow the following instructions to install it Vista: Installing the Telnet Client | Microsoft Vista | Tech-Recipes

i know,,u have to turn it on from windows program n features.. i am able to open n operate telnet.. as i have turned it on... but if i give any command.. it comes not connected..

Thats strange. Please disable windows firewall and the integrated firewall of the router and try it. It should work.

got it done.. telnet working.. now

Please upload the exe to VirusTotal - Free Online Virus and Malware Scan and get the software checked by multiple AV software vendors..

So it work only for premium and free downloads with out clicks.

I am sorry, i didnt understand that statement..

Please read the whole thread first!! I have already posted the source code. you and given you the explanation why it is sometimes detected as virus by over-aggressive antivirus programs!!
