Default POrt Forwarding

Guys i am using Router model no. UT300R2U. I'V dowloaded a program called turkojen and i need to forward some ports for smooth functioality of that program.but i don find the options in my ruoter advanced set up page.please help me.

there is no port forwarding options in ut300r2u.you have to use DMZ option.enable DMZ & enter the internal IP address of your computer(like 192.168.1.4 for example).make sure that your computer internal IP address is fixed & does not change.

I need to forward some ports for Turkojan application.here it goes Port Forwarding for the UTStarcom UT-300R2U . I'v changed my Ip to static.now if i enabled Dmz will it work?and is there any security Risk?

yes it should work.. also make sure you open the port in windows firewall

how to open ports in widows firewall.makin me more confusing...could enunciate a lil bit?

when you enable DMZ all ports are automatically forwarded to your computer.after that you just have to set your firewall to accept connection on these ports.all firewalls will ask if you want to allow for this application.just select yes.

I'v not activated windows firewall.i am using zonealarm . okey.wil try and inform you.
