as the plan itself states that the maximum speed you can get would be 256 kbps but from my previous experience, it hardly reaches half of the said speed. I would suggest you to go for 500 combo plan since the speed is up to 2 mbps and if you want to download a lot, you can try the same during the nighttime unlimited period.

    Smile rs 500 plan better

Instead of taking an unlimited plan, and downloading at 30 kbps for the whole day long, I think it would be better to take the rs 500 2 AM to 8 AM free download scheme, where the download speed is 230 kpbs (max), and stays between 150 and 200 kbps usually. In the unlimited plan, you will have to keep the computer on for the whole day, and suppose you are downloading at 30 kbps, and after you have downloaded 70 MB out of a 100 MB file from rapidshare (which will take a lot of time at 30 kbps; at about 200 kbps, it takes me around ten minutes for 100 MB), if the connection breaks, as it happens with mine, then what do you do? I'm not sure what the use of the unlimited plan is, since the rs 500 plan already offers daytime 2.5 GB free download (though of course that may or may not be enough for different people).
