    Default BSNL Broadband

    Hello:

I use Home 1800 and I am not being able to understand what appears to me is not logical.

While I am downloading a file, I find the speed going up to 220 kbps at times. But invariably the almost all webpage accesses are slow, compared to what I get from my 512 kbps Alliance service.

I had tried to take up this matter with the technical people at BSNL, but I have not got a satisfactory resply.

Can anyone help me to understand this please?

    Regards - Prabir.

I think the problem is with your DNS server

use alternate DNS servers which have less load on them and the pages will open more fast

i think there are some post in this forum which gives the alternate DNS you can use with BSNL
