go to http://192.168.1.1 and type admin as username and password.. then go to WAN and make sure vpi/vci 0/35 is set to BRIDGED mode and not PPOE mode.. since you are using a dialer and getting an error

if you are getting error 691 then something is wrong with your username/password.contact local exchange & tell them about this.i have seen many users with this error 691 & most of the times it was solved after complaining at local exchange.

try by deleting the older connection in windows & start with a new one by using windows connetion wizard for connecting to net.

switch to pppoe mode......it is sucks free....believe me !!try it and get rid of dialers.....in this mode you dont have to dial again and again for connecting to net when the connection breaks ,the router will dial automatically when there is a break in your internet connection....its hassle free

hi guys thanx for all the help u extended.

talked to bsnl engineer..luckily i contacted technical guy.i was able to convince him that problem is on server side. he checked and confirmed it.actually what he was saying is that they are having two different servers for huwaei and UTstarcom routers. my phone is assigned in one server and userid/pwd in another server.got it changed.but it took one day for server update.

thanx one agin for all the support. u guys r doing great work. keep it up.
