Default What maximum speed do u get???

    Hi guys!

I have a 500C plan where in I have a speed limit of 256 Kbps to 2 Mbps. Whenever I download anything, I get a maximum speed of 1600 Kbps (200 KBps). The speed is stagnant on 1600 Kbps and never goes above that. Upto 2 Mbps means I should get a max of 2048 Kbps which I never get. It just doesnt go above 1600 Kbps. Is there any setting that can help me to achieve better speeds.

    Thank you.

I too get very similar speed that you have mentioned and i have the same plan as you are having, 500 c home combo plan. my speed increases mostly during the off peak hours and on peak hours it will be rather very slow less than around 100 kBps too!!

first of all if your connection max download speed is 2mbps i.e.256KBps then usually you will get speeds around 220KBps average download speed.i almost always get 217KBps average speed while using IDM & always get a download of 763.5MB in 1 hour according to DU Meter stats even though my speed varies constantly from 200-250KBps.
