Thread: How much you downloaded and uploded in april 2008

actually 200DVD's are for anime only.i have another 150 for movies,software & TV series etc. so in total i have around 350 DVD's.

i have bought all these DVD's & hard discs when i was doing my degree by saving money from everything else.no spending on parties/hill station trips,fancy mobile etc.i have spent around Rs.22000 in buying all these hard discs & DVD's over a period of 2 years.this is almost equal to Rs.917 per month.

whenever i start doing job i will be buying 1TB(1024GB) & 750GB hard discs.

i like to download anime in high quality AVI's & MKV's with avg. file size from 175-230MB per episode.most of my collection is high quality & i like to make backup of my stuff so that's why the DVD's in case my hard discs failed.

hey bro wake up..........you cannot store all the episodes of DBZ in a single dvd its impossible ........let me explain you there are total 276 episodes in dbz and in medium quality it amounts 32 mb avg. per episodes therefore 276x32=8832mb which is 8.832 gb and dvd consists of only 4.7 gb and ...........i dont trust these dvd's ..............they are not reliable as a hardisk..........i trust on hardisk more than dvd's

dual layer dvd has 8.5GB capacity but they are very costly & very few people uses them.

let me add one more thing you need a dual layer DVD writer also to burn the discs...........hehe which costs even more..........

thanks player.you are the first person i met here who is interested in anime.in fact not many in our country watch anime.even on anime sites/forums i rarely met indians.

btw almost all dvd writers today are dual layer write capable.in fact my 2 year old SONY DVD writer is also dual layer write capable.i think only very cheap dvd writers 2 years ago could not write dual layer dvd.

its not dual layer. maybe 15-20MB/episode. or maybe some 100-150 episodes.

yesterday the dbz dvd snapped into two. it was very popular in our college always on rounds. but yesterday it met its end. one guy threw it and my friend didn't catch it. anyway it was damaged beyond recovery.

it has japnese with english subtitles.i heard from my friend that english version is premiered in cartoon network.

yes!CN is now showing naruto & it is available in both hindi & english.btw dubbed naruto is not good as per a majority of anime sites/fans.japanese audio sounds really good & perfectly matches with video.my suggestion is stick to japanese audio with english subs for anime series whenever possible.only exception i have found so far is DBZ whose english dub is good.

Its really hard and we(I) have to concentrate on the videos while we are watching to read the subs and and to see the video also...........i am not ina habit of watching in original.........for me eng. are good..........but i think eng. are done pretty well....why do u say that eng. dubs are bad .....plz state it why

@narsimhan1990,as far as i know naruto english dub seems OK but in my opinion original japanese audio matches with the whole japanese ninza theme better but it's a matter of personal choice.for downloading eng dub naruto go here---
