Rep Power: 2 | Hello Friends, Here is the poll for the last month "april 2008" download and upload totals. I thinks this poll will really help in changing the habit of people to use internet differently. People, if you vote in it then please try to upload a screenshot of the usage details from the providers website. Well last month i was in level 7 downloaders but this month due to my university exams i lost my position and demoted my self to Level 6 Downloader. I downloaded/Uploaded 47.3GB. |

| Platinum Member | if you don't mind watching some teen stuff try ANIME.a type of cartoon you can say made in japan but trust me some anime series have more emotion.drama, action & suspense than many hollywood movies.search for naruto(not naruto shippoden which is 2nd part of this series) & bleach.these are very long series so you can also start with death note.a very good 36 ep anime series with a superb story.just don't read the story beforehand on net & if you want to get an idea ask me. |

however you will find it difficult to find naruto & bleach to download using torrents because naruto part 1 has 220 episodes out of which first 150 are the one to watch & rest of the others are just fillers(fillers are those episodes which are put in anime but are not based on the manga/original story on which anime is based because anime producers can't make the next episode unless the story advances in manga & manga publishes every week so when story of anime cathches up with manga producers began making fileer episodes so that they can have sufficient no. of manga episodes so that they can make episodes based on manga). my suggestion is start with death note(36 episodes & widely considered as one of the best animes of 2007).here is a summary--- Quote:
one more thing to remember is that all animes originally have japanese audio & english subtitles.though many have english audio version too but it is always better to watch animes in their original jap audio with english subtitles(just like it is always better to watch hollywood movies in english rather watching them in translated language).

Rep Power: 2 | won't it be boring to watch with subtitles. The grand success of dragonball z was the fact that it was translated to english. |

| Platinum Member | 99% of the anime fans prefer watching it with subtitles & there is a good reason.translated audio is always inferior because companies don't exactly translate words/sentences in japanese to english because of cultural differences just like it is weird to heard hindi dialogues from the mouths of actors like tom cruise, bruce willis etc when in the original movie they said something like "OH ****!" if you want to know try watching some hollywood movie dubbed in hindi on BINDAAS MOVIES & you will understand why it is always better to see the movie in original audio even if with subtitles. as for DBZ it was a long time ago.now no body watches or very few watches anime dubbed in english.you can confirm it any anime site/forum. |

| Platinum Member | it looks like whitestar is a big fan of watching animes and so am i .....the best place to download these animes is.......cooldbz.com its the best just give it a try there is no need of searching animes in torrent.....and in my opinion dragonball z is much more interesting than naruto atleast in my opinion because i have watched naruto on tv nowadays it is airing on CN you can watch it there before downloading it ....i didnt find it more action packed than dragonball z........and i prefer to watch animes in english it is better to understand .....for how much time you will read the subtitles .....you will read or watch the anime |

| Platinum Member | in my opinion naruto has more story depth than DBZ even if DBZ has more action.also about english audio i have some dual audio animes & i found that the the companies usually change very much of original audio to suit the needs of americans.the language i herd remembers me of hollywood movies & seems very out of place when looking at the video(just like hearing OH TERE KEE or ABE TERI TO from the mouth of bruce willis in die hard dubbed in hindi).reading subtitles only seems difficult but once you watch 2-3 episodes you will like to watch animes with subs only.DBZ is somewhat of a exception in the sense that it can be watched with english audio as well but 95% of the times dubbed versions are not good. |

Rep Power: 0 | Since this poll is about downloading through BSNL, I would like to know if anyone has tool for measuring your bandwidth. I have heard ther is such tool which specially monitors download/upload figures so u can check your bandwidth (especially for persons like me with limited bandwidth connection). If anyone know about such software/tool pls reply to the forum. |

And regarding to post by infoinn, I framed my question incorrectly. Cause I wanted to say that since this forum is regarding BSNL downloads, I wanted a download monitor which calculates downloaded/uploaded data specifically BSNL connections (as I have only 1 GB plan). Thanks infoinn for drawing that to me.
