Thread: Yahoo Video chat with 1 GB download limit

Hi folks, I am absolute new bee here. hopy you will help me out.

Hello all,

I want to get bsnl broadband connection with 1 GB usage limit Rs.250/- /pm.

Can anybody tell me how many hours I can use internet if I use it only for video chat using yahoo messenger?

someone told me that video chat is zero download, is it true??

Well who ever told you that its zero download or doesnt eat up your monthly quota is wrong.

Video chatting using yahoo or any other client takes up a lot of bandwidth and I dont suggest you get a connection with 1gb limit.

Every packet of data sent or received over your internet broadband connection counts in the usage.

And as 'admin' said, video/audio chatting consumes a huge amount of bandwidth.

For Video chatting, and if you do it a lot, I suggest that you go with the UL750 package.

go to your telephone exchange and ask the person who is incharge of broadband services or ask the SDO of the exchange he will give you the portal id which is a unique 14 or 15 characters(plz correct me if i am wrong) id..you have to use this id to check your usage
