Default setting linksys WRT54G router for laptop

I have d-link modem GLB 502-t connected with linksys wireless router WRT54G to one desktop via ethernet port and one laptop via wifi. My desktop is working fine with the modem and router, but cant set the laptop to access.
Can anyone provide me step by step procedure to set up router for my laptop on wifi.

first of all set up ur wan configuration to PPPoE. this can be done by entering ur router with typing 192.168.1.1 into ur browser and putting admin as username and password as admin.

    save ur configuration.

enter ur lan conf. and enter the same conf. as that of ur router conf. and put default gateway as 192.168.1.1. and then reboot the router. and now ur ready to surf

It seems you guys do not know that Linksys has a Toll Free Technical Support in India. You guys should call that number and try. My experience with them has always been GREAT.

    Call them on 1-800-419-5797.
