Default UTSTARCOM WA3002G4 not working after a hard reset

Hi all,

i'm a newbie to this forum, and this is like my first post. I do know a little about networking and recently i had a problem with my router(type II wireless). The DNS started failing intermittedly though the ADSL connection was alive... I tried to live with this but soon got annoyed and therefore did a Hard reset on it. I have all the configurations stored in my computer, therefore setting it back to its default values was a breeze. I am absolutely sure about my PPPoe user id and password and set it all back to what they were...

Suprisingly after all this i was still not able to access the internet. The ADSL is on but it fails to ping the DNS.. I tried another primary and secondary DNS from and external source too...it failed too...

Was there something i missed on? Its not rocket science to configure a router but why is it still not working? do i have to call up customer service and check with them if they have to do something on their end too?

Anyways any advice will be of great help..

Thanks
Jack
