Angry BSNL Modem connection drop problems

I have SmartAX MT880 configured PPEoE inside it. I have problems with this modem for several months and I am not sure if this is a good modem or not. Once it drops, it do not auto connect, I have to power recycle many times. Have anyone has the same problems? Because of this, I can not use my VOIP to talk to my brother in US. Has any one has the same problems?

By the way, I got BSNL 500 connection.

    Thanks in advance.

This could be because of your current telephone setup.Make sure the telephone line from the pole comes directly to the splitter and all telephones must be connected after the splitter..

I don't think there's anything wrong with your modem.
Change the properties of BSNL dial up in network connections ,change the reconnection frequency to 999 and duration to 1 sec.
And uncheck the box saying "prompt for username and password."
Check the box just next to it saying "reconnect if connection is dropped"

Another alternative is keep your IE open and keep any of your mail accounts logged on(any mail account like gmail which updates its inbox periodically),configure IE to dial a connection when there is no connection in tools>internet options>connections.

Hope you got what you wanted.Ask if anything more.

    Hi

The problem is with the BSNL server. Me too faced this problem for 2 months. I sacked BSNL and got Airtel connection. No one will respond to your complaint. I am sure about that.
