Thread: Bsnl Broadband--modem Or Router..??

I Am Applying For A Bsnl Broadband 256 Kbps. Am Wondering If I Should Get A Modem Or A Router...? Which One Is Better. Should I Get The Same From Bsnl Or Outside.....please Advice...

why double thread?

BSNL modems are router+modem so you dont have to buy extra equipment for routing your internet connection. BSNL modems are very cheap and offer good value for money.
But if you are willing to spend more then go for the routers from brands like Netgear,Asus or Linksys.......and opt for their range N series.........they are awsome in terms of performance and reliability.......but for a premium.
