| Platinum Member | As gardencityboy said they may be using Home500 or Home 500c plan which has bandwidth upto 2mbps which implies that your maximum download speed will be 256KB/s............which is really good...........and not to mentioning that home 250 plan is also having bandwidth upto 2mbps.

Rep Power: 5 | There are many BSNL plans available (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.). Check them out. You should select a plan that is best suited for your needs. You must choose between high speed/limited usage or lower speed/unlimited usage. Your current plan is an unlimited plan that allows infinite downloading @ 256 kbps. You can opt for a high speed plan such as Home 500 C or Home 500 C+ but then you must relagate all heavy downloads during the free night time period; otherwise you will end up with a hefty bill.

Rep Power: 0 | Hi guys...thanks for all da help. I spoke to the bsnl guys and they were of the opnion that even with a 256k unlimited plan ur due to get speeds of upto 200k with download but not upto 2 mbps. SO now am advised by them to shift to 512k home plan unlimited ............... Fair enough u think? or they are just bull shitting? |
