Rep Power: 0 | for the past three days, my dataone connection is giving me trouble. i have a wa3002-g1 modem and since all the lights are green and steady, i think it is in working order. inspite of that, i do not have an internet connection. i have tried ipconfig and ping, and this is what i got. can anyone please help? i have tried connecting to bsnl customercare but no help yet. Rep Power: 5 | try ping 192.168.1.1 and post output here.. are you connecting via ppoe or using a dialer to connect? |

| Platinum Member | in your modem configuration connection status is disconnected.it should be connected.go to connection settings & there should be a connect option below the pvc0 connection.click on it to see if you get connected.if not then edit the connection properties to check your bsnl username/password is correct.if all is well & you still can't connect then try using the bridge mode.maybe something is wrong with your username/password. |

Rep Power: 2 | Your modem settings shows 'Disconnected' but you said all lights are green and steady, i think your modem is showing some improper indication. There might be problem with your modem! anyway check what whitestar told and get back |

Rep Power: 0 | @ whitestar_999: i have tried activating pvc0 connection but the wan connection remains down. i think my password is correct because i had taken the precaution of having written it down. so the problem continues to baffle me. Bridge mode doesn't change matters either. @ skap : the modem could be faulty. but the lights do remain green and steady. |

Rep Power: 2 | book a complaint that your modem is not working properly. If possible check with any other modem if you have or any of ur friend's, just to doubt ensure that modem is the problem. |

Rep Power: 0 | hi guys, just wanted to thank for your help. my modem was not the culprit. it was the configuration of the modem. i spent some time tinkering with it and now everything is fine. |
