Rep Power: 0 | error 819 on vista recently my bsnl modem started showing error 819 on vista but i rectified it. the procedure is 1. reset the modem for 15 sec by pressing the rset buton at the rear of the modem 2.switch off ur modem and restart 3.open network and sharing option from control panel 4.open manage connection from left side and right click on ur lan /ethernet and go to its tcp/ip4 properties 5.select obtain ip address automatically 6.in network and sharing check u have connectivity from ur computer to natwork if not s/w off ur modem and restart 7. to check connectivity with modem type ping 192.168.1.1 -t in is search on start icon 8. now configure ur modem by opening internet explorer and type 192.168.1.1 in address bar 9.give admin as user and password 10.go configuration > internet click add vpi 0 vco 35 and configure it in PPPOE and give ur broadband user id and pwd and save changes any query mail to tom_tom172@yahoo.com |
