Default howto: setup a wireless router(linksys) to work with bsnl type 1 modem

well i just got a new UL750 plan.. am excited... i have a laptop and would like to use bsnl connecton wireless because i have a linksys wireless router. i have a type 1 modem and linksys WRH54G wireless router. i would like instructions to setup the router.any help would be appreciated.. when am connected directly (ie, thru the bsnl modem) i can surf the web but when i connect the linksys router..i cant...
also, when i connect the linksys router to the BSNL modem, all 4 LED's are glowing (green) on the BSNL modem. (UT300r2u)
i have gotten to know the details of my connection. i know all details, like mac address, default gateway, ip address... i got to know these when i typed "ipconfig/all" in DOS. i probably just need to konw where to filln in these values in my linksys router setup page.
also, the access address for both my modems(linksys and BSNL) is 192.168.1.1. do you think that could be causing a problem?? here are the screenshots of my linksys router:

just make sure you connect your wireless router with a " cross over" LAN cable............only then you will be able to route(your internet) and make your internet accessible through wireless.

    nikhilck-
You are correct, you need to change your routers IP and gateway.
Find below here a network diagram depicting how to connect modem-router-pc.

    Hi
As mentioned above.. having same IP address for Modem and Router will create problems.. Just change the IP address of your wireless router to 192.168.10.1 and it should solve your first problem.

Now after doing this you have two options to connect to internet....
    1. Making DSL modem to dial the connection
    2. Making the Wireless Router dial the connection

If you want the first option just access the DSL modem menu and select PPPOE ... enter ur user id and password and click save.. the modem will reboot and after 2-4 mins the model will be ready to directly access the internet.... After this connect your wireless router to modem, access the router by typing (192.168.10.1) and in setup select DHCP mode and click save.. router will reboot and ur ready to access internet from router... do remember to enable wireless mode on ur router and most important thing... encript ur wireless signal with ur password so that ur neighbours will not be able to steal ur wireless connection...

If you want second option just connect router to modem and access router configuration menu by dialing routher IP address (192.168.10.1) and select PPPOE in the router, fill the user ID and password and click save.. router will reboot and after 1-2 mins will connect to internet...

    Hope this helps..
