Thread: Link-Sys Wireless Router with BSNL Broad Band

Please guide me, that I want to established a wireless internet connection with a BSNL Broad Band and D-Link wireless router Modem and want to access Internet connection via LAPTOP. without any arrangement of desktop pc's for established connection. how it is possible and what necessary steps I have taken for the same. I want plug the RJ11 phone cable into wireless modem and configure modem with provided username and password. when ever I on the router modem it automatically established connection between ON wireless enable laptop.

could you specify the model no of the dlink router?

i think DI 524 is just a wireles router not a ADSL router.. so you cannot connect the RJ 11 cable to the dlink.. i suggest that you follow just4kix's guide on configuring the modem and the router.. even though the modem's are different, the procedure is almost the same.. try understanding this guide http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...er-wrt54g.html (Setup of ADSL Modem/Router UT-300R2U with Linksys Wireless Router WRT54G) and post if you have any problems..
