Thumbs up severe disconnection problem on new broadband connection

i hv just got connected to bsnl few days back. but from day1 my experience has been very bad i am getting frequent disconnections and my link light blinks before disconnection. also disconnection is sometimes after 2 minutes and sometimes after 5 minutes, othertimes it is after 30 mins. i hv already contacted bsnl for this but they everything is ok. so can anyone tell me what's wrong with the connection.i am using bridge mode, i am on home c+ plan. also night unlimited is restricted to 1.5mbps max i from kolkata alipore area, is anyone in kolkata facing the same problem.
help me guys please

make sure you connect all your telephones after the splitter

i have checked the connection & there is no noise in the line. so where is the problem. a bsnl linesmen has also checked the line

Even i had the same problem tell just go to the main router page just check what the downstream speed is.Ask them to increase am sure your problem will cease.Its due to bottle neck of bandwidth.

well disconnections can be because of many reasons ...
1. As superprash said all the connections must be after the splitter.
The direct telephone line should come directly to the splitter and then it should be used for thr telephone and modem connection.
2. Do u get any error code after u reconnect?The disconnection may also be from the service providers end.

I too have d same probs. help me by posting here if urs is solved. I ve complained to bsnl der is no noise prob, dey changed my tele line as well. Downstream rate is above 7832 Kbps
